Understanding Your Financial Responsibility
Every insurance plan is different. Depending on your specific policy, you may be responsible for one or more of the following:
Copay
A copay is a fixed amount you pay for each appointment. Your insurance company determines this amount based on your individual plan.
Deductible
A deductible is the amount you must pay for covered healthcare services before your insurance begins sharing the cost. If your deductible has not yet been met, you may be responsible for the full cost of your visit until it is satisfied.
Coinsurance
Coinsurance is your share of the cost of a covered service after your deductible has been met. For example, if your insurance covers 80% of the visit, you would be responsible for the remaining 20%.
Insurance Verification
As a courtesy, our staff will verify your insurance benefits before your appointment whenever possible. While we strive to provide accurate information, insurance verification is not a guarantee of payment or coverage. Final responsibility for understanding your benefits and any patient balance remains with you and your insurance provider.
Payment
Copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and any outstanding balances are due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
We accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience.
